It’s been far too long since I have blogged. ๐Ÿ™ I said to my boyfriend the other day, “Idk how I’m even still getting hits or inquiries from my site. I haven’t been present on there in months.”ย I’ve tried my best to at least post sneak peeks on my Instagram and FB business page, but my poor blog has been a little neglected. I just have to be honest with you all…and myself. I have 21 kiddos now, and I HAVE BEEN DOWN RIGHT BUSY AND EXHAUSTED. I’M TALKIN’ FALLING ASLEEP AT 8PM EXHAUSTED. I started a new teaching position, and I’ve just gotten to the point where I can dedicate a little more time to photography again. Farrahn E. Photography is definitely still shooting. Lol! Before I post any new things, I want to share a few family sessions from the past holiday rush. First up, is Hanna & Jin’s family session!!!

I’m just sooo pleased with how this shoot turned out. I felt bad before we showed up for it because I knew it was going to be a cold day, but the girls were such great sports throughout the entire shoot. They are at my favorite age, they are old enough to know what’s going on, but young enough to not really care about the camera being pointed at them. Lol! They completely did their own thing for the camera and I LOVEEED that!!!

I’m so glad that we decided to not let the crazy weather stop this shoot from happening. It felt weird that this was my first time actually meeting Hanna because I feel like I’ve truly known her for a while, thanks to conversing via social networks and emailing for some time. & Hanna, let me just say that I have watched you from afar. You’ve handle a situation that would have completely broken most women. You’ve handled it with so much strength, class, and grace. In this year you’ve taught me so much about moving forward and not letting anything keep you down too long…and you didn’t even know it! I hope that we have started something here, and you’ll trust me to capture many many maaany more memories for you & Jin.

Again, I never wanted to go the railroad tracks route, but my goodness it really works! LOL!

What a beautiful family!

One of my favorite sibling shots…EVER.

Gorgeous!

My first album will be coming up soon and featuring this family. So stay tuned!

Thanks for looking!

Hanna & Jin Family Session

How nice it was to have Charmaine contact me for another shoot this year! I worked with her babygirl around the 3rd of July! I remember the date because, I remember working with her and then leaving for a birth that same day…and then shooting another birth the next day. I’d never had such a severe case of baby fever in my life! Lol! Anyway, this was one of the best emails ever because not only did Charmaine want me to take her immediate family’s pics, but she wanted to gift a session for her sister in law and her girls! How awesome! Both families were EXTREMEEELY easy to work with and their sessions flowed so naturally. I have to say that the two youngest were sooomething else and kept me laughing. It was such a cold two days, but Baby K smiled/laughed for almost EVERY SINGLE shot…and Candace’s baby girl would be warming up and when it was time for her shots, she’d toss her coat and BRING IT! LOLOL! I couldn’t be happier with their galleries. Although this was two separate sessions, I’m going to combine them here so this share is a bit larger. Enjoy!

Look at Baby K when she was just a few days old. <3 <3 <3

Now here she is about 5 months later. Just as happy as can be!ย

Their sweet family. I love the color combination.ย

Parents are normally the last ones to get shots at my sessions, so I made a conscious effort to not put a few of those off until the end.

One of my favorite “mommy and me” shots!

Lol! The one on the right is hilarious!ย

Lol! I love her!

Bridges Family Part II

Lol! What did I tell you?! She was ready! I even think she posed herself here.

Candace could totally pass for “one of the girls” herself!”ย

Candace with each of her little ladies. Love!

Of course we ended with a shot of everyone! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for looking!

Here’s another family that I have been privileged to watch grow…and take their pics along the way! ๐Ÿ™‚ We started with a maternity shoot, and thennn a newborn shoot, and nooow a sweet little holiday shoot. It was tough on the first day because it was SO SO SOOO cold & Baby Ken wasn’t feeling too well. I pride myself on genuinely caring about my families…especially with little ones, so we ended up getting what we could on the first try and then I went back out to their amazing home to finish their holiday session a few days later. It ended up working out perfect the next go around AND we even got some smiles from Baby Ken! They are just so easy to work with, definitely one of my favorite families!

Let’s take a litttle walk back down memory lane!

Awaiting Baby Ken

Ken’s Newborn Shoot

Such a little cutie pie!ย

Clichรฉ but picture perfect!

Ah! I just LOVE LOVE LOOOVE his smiles! I got excited when I was uploading their session and saw these shots.

This is going to be a bit of a long post. It’s ALWAYS a treat when I get a phone call about a shoot and after a little while of chatting, we realize that we actually know each other!!! This was one those clients. Allyson and I are both here in Atlanta now, but we met yeeears ago in Augusta. I was still a little high schooler and this was before Allyson was a wife and mommy! How exciting to be able to meet and work with her beautiful & sweet family! ๐Ÿ™‚

Any who, I was preparing for this family’s holiday blog, and it hit me that I never shared their family session from earlier this year. They have named me their new family photographer so I definitely do want to neglect to show their growth while I’m working with them.

Let’ start with our RAINY summer day session earlier this year:

Braxton was around 6 or 7 months, so we got one of my personal fave shots…naked little baby in all of their juicy glory!

& Little Miss Kennedi had just celebrated her THIRD birthday. I still can’t believe she’s only 3. She’s a very intelligent little one.ย

& Brax was also recently Christened so we got a few shots of him in his Christening outfit.

Seconds before it started pouring on us! ๐Ÿ™

2013 Holiday Session:

Braxton is getting ready to be THE BIG 1! He looks like a baby man now!

SO cute in their Christmas PJs!

I love this shot of them!ย

Thanks for looking!ย

I’d been praying for a few things pertaining to this session 1. The weather would work with us and 2. The Vanderpool dogs treat me kindly! I guess you can say everything went accordingly except for the fact that it was a pretttttty chilly day. Somehow we still managed to get some beautiful smiles from the little ones…and they were definitely a treat to work with!

I’m used to working with small dogs, but they made sure they treated me well. I’m glad we were able to include their fur babies!

Baby E’s big smiles just warm my little heart.

Such a little lady.
