How did I NOT blog these pics?! AH. So Pey, my God daughter turned one earlier this year. Having a cake smash was just not even a question. Her mom and I collaborated on the perfect props (tutu’s) and things of that nature for her Cake Smash. Her birthday celebration was a “Winter ONEderland” theme.

The cake smash was going great, and I was just loooving the shots I was getting up until we brought the cake out. I was told that kids either love or hate the texture of the icing. Well, she showed us immediately which spectrum she was on. I should have known that my girl would bring the tears at some point. I still adore the pictures, and it taught me a valuable lesson. ALWAYS get shots (baby and detail) juuuuust in case they don’t like the idea of smashing their cake.

I can’t wait to have my own kids and put them through this type of stuff, but until then…It’s more than a pleasure to subject my God children to my idea of “fun” (Check out my God son’s HERE) ! LOL! These are the pics that parents will always adore and pull out to embarrass ya! HEHE!

Meeting with Aubrey for a shoot with his little boy has been in the works for a minute. He definitely did not disappoint with his super cute self! This was a rather special shoot for me because Aubrey and I go way back, and it was pretty awesome to see him and his family vibing so well during the brief little session we had. Getting a child to laugh and interact with their parent has NEVER EVER been so easy. I’m extremely proud of you my friend…you clearly, already have a great relationship with Aubrey Jr.  I am seriously looking forward to doing a full session with this family, complete with a little wee man that was missing!

These kids are no strangers to my blog. They make as many appearances as my God kids…It’s Toot & Taylor! Taylor was my very first newborn shoot and now she’s THREE months! She wasn’t as easy going and sleepy as she was 3 months ago…oh no…she was a little baby diva. She required resting periods, milk on demand, and to be held here and there. LOL! Toot couldn’t decide if he loved pictures or hated them, but regardless we got AWESOOOOME shots! He also decided that he might want to be a photographer and took this opportunity to help me get the shots. He was directing me on how to pose them, what they should be doing, the faces they should be making, etc. It was interesting to say the least…LOL!
