I truly enjoyed working with this family. They were extremely eeeeasy to work with from the second they contacted me. I laughed throughout their entire photo shoot because baby girl was such a well behaved DIVAAAA at the young age of two! I will just let the photos do the rest of the talking…You will surely be able to tell.

She has so much personality and was a joy to work with!

I’ve been mighty busy and haven’t been keeping up with blogging each session like I rrreally really want to, but I’m here today with a little familiar face. You might remember Jada from a cake smash shoot that I did last year. If you don’t…let me share what is probably my ALL TIME FAAAVORITE photo…

Well, Vy brought her baby girl back to me for Christmas pictures, and decided that they’d make it a family affair this time around. If you follow are a friend, follow me on any social networks, or frequent my blog then you should know by now that I stress the importance of parents getting in the shot, therefore it should come as no surprise when I say… I am SO glad that they decided to jump in more shots with Jada!  After I posted a sneak peek, my best friend actually called me to tell me how “fly” this family was. Jada was just as busy as ever, but definitely gave me a ton to work with. They came out and braved such a cold colllld day, and I couldn’t be happier with the way their shoot turned out. I hope we are making this an annual thing, Vy! Hehe! 😉

As independent as she is, she had her “daddy’s girl” moments!

Again, Jada is SOOO independent. She didn’t want her parents holding her and she insisted on getting off of her dad’s lap, moving forward, and sitting down for the picture in front of them! I was laughing so hard at her a few times that I could barely get the shot. Talk about pictures speaking a thousand words! The first photo is what I had in mind, the second photo is how it really is!

Jada rrreally wanted to get to the park. This was her giving me a quick smile so she could be left alone to play! LOL! Such a little character, but I’llllll take it!

What a sweet family of three I had the pleasure of working with. They came up from Augusta for their photo shoot, and totally rocked Lenox Park! Cohen was/is probably the most well behaved one (almost two) year old in the entire world. He did whatever his parents told him to do…even smiled on cue. I learned a valuable lesson during this shoot, tell parents to bring their child’s favorite toys or things that they love. Working with children, you would think that I’d came up with that idea, but nope…it was all Conswala! He rarely separated from his football and I love the shots of him and his trusty little prop.

This baby girl will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. She was the verrrrry first newborn that I had the privilege of photographing. She sure did set the bar extremely high. She came out beautiful and she slept so peacefully throughout majority of her shoot.

 

It was a pleasure working with Jasmine. When she contacted me for a shoot for her and her family, she seemed to know exactly what she wanted, but still open to any suggestions I offered. Her family came dressed so cute in coordinating blue and white. My faaave was litte “Junior Man”, such a cutie pie. The only catch is that you ABSOLUTELY have to talk to him for laughs, lol! You can tell that these awesome parents give him a ton of attention and love.

Extremely proud of the picture on the right. It is my first successful “head swap”. I really wanted a picture of everyone smiling. I’m thrilled that I was able to sort of create that. It ended up being our favorite from the session!

I came back a day or two to capture some of Junior Man’s awesome three-monthness…in the comfort of their home!
