They are finally HERE! I was so anxious about meeting and working with my first twins. It was MOOOONTHS ago when Nikita first mentioned wanting me to do her babies’ newborn session. I mean, she hadn’t even booked their session yet, and I was still a little excited about the possibility. It isn’t every day that I get a message about twins! They were pretty much amazing for their session.

Definitely one of my favorite maternity sessions!

& here they are filling in their little outfits that we photographed during the maternity session. These were their going home outfits.

We did a lot with them together and also some of them individually. 

LOL! They have absolutely NOOO choice, but to be Cowboys Fans! Love these.

& of course we had to do something with their dad’s gear. 🙂

I saved my favorites for last. I wish Dallas would have been in them, but I like these shots for their girls. It was important to this family for their baby girl that is not longer with us to be incorporated. These two twins are extra blessed because they have a guardian angel. As with all of my clients, I appreciate you guys choosing me to capture this special time in your lives!

Shortly after I did this shoot, I had a major family emergency come up so I wasn’t able to blog this session or any others when I’d intended on it. So I’m back tracking before moving on with more holiday sessions. I just had to add my little Lam Lam to the blog. He was a few weeks older than most of my newborns and he thought sleep was over rated. It worked out that this happened to be a session of a friend…we talked and talked and waited and waited…and then we just gave up. I actually like the way that it turned out. It was a fortunate situation because Janet was so willing to be in majority of the shoot with her baby boy.

A few months ago I shared Nunu’s maternity session here on the blog….fast forward a few months and here we are. 🙂

He smiled and I melted.

Yelling at me on the left…”Sleep is for suckers!” Lol!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some newborn goodness…so I wanted to share one with you all. Baby Peek was probably the hardest sleeper I have everrrr had the pleasure of working with. She was such a dream baby girl! I’m definitely hoping to work with the Peek Family again in the future. 😉

I am definitely getting a canvas of the above shot for my office. She’s perfection!

This baby girl will always and forever hold a special place in my heart. She was the verrrrry first newborn that I had the privilege of photographing. She sure did set the bar extremely high. She came out beautiful and she slept so peacefully throughout majority of her shoot.

 

Pretty excited about this baby girl because I thiiiiink she might be growing up in front of my lens! 🙂 I mean, I’ve done maternity, birth, and now her newborn pics. I think she’s a fan of the camera just as long as she can stay awake. Luckily, this would be the only shoot that would require her to sleep because Little Miss Chloé likes to be in the know (wiiiide awake). LOL!

& Ahhh…my recent moms have gotten away with not being in these shots. I’m going to have to start back insisting. Lol! JK…sorta!

I finally woooon! She fell asleep for a millisecond! 😉
